Family Reunion Cabin Rentals Near Yellowstone

Six cabins built for groups of 13 to 68. Sleeping arrangements that handle three generations. Twenty minutes to Yellowstone in one direction, the Henry's Fork in the other.

The math

Group size → capacity math.

Most reunions land in the 18-to-50-person range. Here's where each of our cabins sits and what we recommend:

  • 10–14Beautiful Views (13) or Trails End (16) — single-cabin under one roof.
  • 15–20Lodge at Cutthroat Landing (18) or Riverfront Wildlife Lodge (19). Both have shared lounges that fit the whole group.
  • 21–36Teton View Retreat — East cabin alone (36). Theater for movie nights, full game room, private ski hill for sledding.
  • 37–68Teton View Retreat — Both Domes together. Twin theaters, two pool tables, two complete kitchens for two-shift catering.
  • 69+Multi-cabin coordination — Teton View Both + Lodge at Cutthroat Landing 24 minutes apart, or Teton View East + West + a third nearby property. We coordinate the booking.
Planner checklist

How to plan it.

A working checklist, gathered from groups who've done this before.

  1. Lock the dates 9–12 months out. Peak summer (mid-June through August) books first. Spring and fall are easier.
  2. Map sleeping arrangements before booking. We'll send a labeled floor plan once a property is confirmed so you can place couples in private suites, kids in bunk lofts, grandparents on the main floor.
  3. Split the deposit. A 30% deposit holds the dates. We collect from one lead booker but accept follow-up payment splits before the 30-day balance window.
  4. Decide on catering. Most groups do 2-3 chef-catered meals across a 4-5 night stay and DIY the rest. We have a local-chef list we'll share.
  5. Build the activity day-plan. Yellowstone takes a full day. Fly fishing day takes a full day (book guides 60+ days out). Pick one or two "off" days for the cabin itself.
  6. Stock day one. Coffee, breakfast for 30, snacks for the kids. The closest full grocery is Macey's in Rexburg (30 minutes); coffee + snacks at TroutHunter in Last Chance (5 minutes from Cutthroat).
  7. Set ground rules upfront. Quiet hours, kids-cabin vs. adult-cabin assignments, who's on dinner duty. We'll share a sample group-trip charter if helpful.
FAQ — reunions

Frequently asked.

  • How early should we book a 30+ person reunion?

Six to twelve months out is the sweet spot. The Teton View domes (the only properties that take 36+ people) book first because they're the only inventory at that size. Late availability does open up — we keep a notification list if you tell us your dates.

  • Can multiple families pay separately?

Yes. The lead booker secures with the deposit on a single card. Within the 30-day balance window we collect from up to 5 additional cards. Reach out when you book and we coordinate the split so no one's covering the whole bill on a single statement.

  • Can we coordinate two cabins at once?

Yes — multi-cabin stays are a common setup, especially when reunion grows past 36 people. The most common pairing is Teton View Both + Cutthroat Landing (24-minute drive between them). We handle the coordination and any shared logistics.

  • Pets at reunions?

Some properties allow pets, some don't. Each property page lists its pet policy; if not posted, call or email us before booking. Cleaning fees adjust accordingly.

  • What about weather backup plans?

Every property has a game room, a great room sized for the full group, and an indoor activity setup (theaters at Teton View; cards/puzzles/games at all properties). Rain or snow doesn't kill a reunion here — we get plenty of both.
