Grandview Property Management ("Grandview," "we," "us") operates grandviewprops.com and manages seven privately owned cabin rentals in Island Park and Ashton, Idaho. This policy explains what we collect when you use the site or book a stay, why we collect it, and what control you have over it.
What we collect
Information you give us
When you request a quote or complete a booking, we collect your name, email address, phone number, travel dates, and party size. If you contact us by email or phone, we keep that correspondence so we can answer follow-up questions about your stay.
We do not collect or store payment card numbers. Payment is handled by our booking platform and its payment processor, described below.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, we log standard technical information: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, referring page, and the dates and times of those visits. We also record which page a booking started from, so we can tell which of our guides and property pages are actually useful to guests.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people move through the site. It sets cookies that assign your browser a random identifier. We have not enabled Google Signals, advertising personalization, or remarketing on this property, and we do not sell or share this data with advertisers.
We also store campaign parameters (the utm_source-style tags on a link) for the length of your visit, so that if you book we can tell which article or search brought you here. This is attribution, not profiling — it is not tied to your identity beyond the booking itself.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site works without them; only our analytics accuracy suffers.
Who else handles your data
We keep the list of third parties short and name them all:
- Guesty — our property management and booking platform. Reservation details, guest contact information, and messaging live here. Guesty is the system of record for your booking.
- Stripe — processes card payments on Guesty's behalf. Your card details go directly to Stripe. Grandview never receives or stores them.
- Google Analytics 4 — website traffic measurement, as described above.
- Cloudflare — hosts and delivers this website and provides security filtering. Cloudflare processes request logs, including IP addresses.
Each of these processes data on our instructions. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with data brokers or advertising networks.
How long we keep it
Booking records are retained for seven years, which is what Idaho tax and business record requirements call for. General website analytics are retained for fourteen months. Email correspondence not tied to a booking is deleted after two years.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you what personal information we hold about you, correct anything inaccurate, or delete it where we are not required to keep it for tax or legal reasons. Email [email protected] and we will respond within thirty days.
If you are a California resident, the CCPA gives you these rights explicitly, plus the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. We do not sell personal information as the CCPA defines the term. If you are in the UK or EU, you additionally have the right to object to processing and to request your data in portable form; contact us the same way.
To opt out of Google Analytics across all sites, Google publishes a browser add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Security
The site is served over HTTPS. Booking data is held in Guesty under access controls limited to Grandview staff who need it to run a stay. No system is perfectly secure, and we will not claim otherwise — but we have deliberately kept the number of places your data lives as small as we can.
Children
The site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their information. Guests booking a stay must be at least 25 years old.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of this page. Material changes affecting existing bookings will be emailed to affected guests.
