Large Cabin Rentals Near Yellowstone

Six privately owned cabins that sleep 13 to 50 guests, all within an hour of Yellowstone's west entrance. The largest single-owner cabin capacity in the region.

Grandview manages the largest cluster of single-owner big-capacity cabins near Yellowstone — six properties sleeping 13, 15, 16, 19, 36, and 50 guests each, all in Island Park or Ashton, Idaho. Every cabin books directly through grandviewprops.com. For groups above 50, two cabins can be booked together for a linked stay of up to 72 guests.

Why big cabins are hard to find here

The Yellowstone region has almost no large-cabin inventory.

Search Airbnb or Vrbo for cabins near Yellowstone that sleep 20 or more, and you'll turn up a few dozen listings across a hundred-mile radius. Most are large lodges owned by rental corporations, priced for corporate retreats, and often booked out for the season by the time you look.

Grandview is different. Every property is privately owned by a family or individual who spends time in it themselves. Every cabin over 15 people has real great-room space for the whole group to be together at once, and dedicated kids' zones so the parents get to eat dinner adult-style.

The result is six cabins built the way real families use them, ranging from a manageable 13-person lakefront cabin to the 50-person Teton View Retreat — the biggest single-owner cabin bookable within an hour of Yellowstone's west entrance.

Sort by group size

Every cabin, by how many it sleeps.

  • 13Beautiful Views — five bedrooms on Henry's Lake, walkout basement, 15 minutes from Yellowstone's west entrance. Best for a small extended family or two-couple friend trip.
  • 15The Lodge at Cutthroat Landing — five bedrooms on the south shore of Henry's Lake, private hot tub, arcade area. Sleeps a small reunion.
  • 16Trails End Lodge — six bedrooms on Bills Island in the middle of the Henry's Fork, private hot tub, indoor game room.
  • 19Riverfront Wildlife Lodge — seven bedrooms on the Henry's Fork at Big Springs, themed kids' rooms, private dock. The most family-friendly cabin in the collection.
  • 36Teton View East or Teton View West — dome cabin outside Ashton, home theater, pool table, air hockey, shuffleboard, lit private basketball court. Handles a real reunion under one roof.
  • 50Teton View Retreat — Both Domes — East and West cabins booked as one linked stay. Twin theaters, two pool tables, two full kitchens for two-shift catering. The biggest single-owner cabin in the Yellowstone region.
For groups above 50

Multi-cabin bookings for very large parties.

The single-cabin ceiling is 50 guests at Teton View Both. Above that, we book two cabins together. Two setups are common and both work well:

  • Teton View Both + Cutthroat Landing (up to 65 guests).
Twenty-four minute drive between them. The Teton View domes are the anchor for adult reunions or wedding parties; Cutthroat serves as an overflow lodge for close family or a bride's group. Both have hot tubs.
  • Teton View Both + Riverfront Wildlife Lodge (up to 69 guests).
Twenty-five minute drive. Great for a family with young kids who need the themed rooms at Riverfront (bear cave, boat bed, covered wagon) as their own home base while the adults gather at Teton View.
  • Three-cabin coordination (70+).
We've coordinated three-cabin stays for wedding weekends and corporate retreats. Call us with the guest count and we'll build the cabin combination and stagger the check-in.

All multi-cabin stays get one point of contact and one lead invoice with the payment split done on our end. We coordinate the two properties' check-in times so the group can move as one.

What large cabins actually need

The features that separate a real big-group cabin from a rented one.

Great-room capacity for the whole group. A cabin that sleeps 30 but only has seating for 12 doesn't work. Every Grandview cabin above 15 people has a great room sized for the full guest count, plus a second gathering space (game room, secondary living area, or theater) so half the group can peel off.

Two kitchens for over 30 guests. Both Teton View East and West have full commercial-scale kitchens. That means a family reunion can run two dinner shifts without competing for burners, and a corporate off-site's caterer can prep breakfast on one side while lunch cleanup happens on the other.

Kids' rooms designed for kids. Riverfront Wildlife Lodge's themed rooms (bear cave, covered wagon, boat bed) are the reason it gets rebooked. Teton View has bunk lofts. Cutthroat Landing has an arcade zone. When your reunion has 12 kids under 10, you need the cabin to entertain them.

Bad-weather backup. Idaho gets rain and snow. Every property in the Grandview collection has an all-indoor entertainment plan — game rooms, theaters, pool tables, board-game closets. Nobody's stuck watching the ceiling when the weather turns.

FAQ — large cabin rentals

Common questions about big-group cabin trips.

  • What is the biggest cabin Grandview rents?

Teton View Retreat — Both Domes, which sleeps 50 across two side-by-side dome cabins that share a private ridge outside Ashton, Idaho. It's the largest single-owner cabin bookable within an hour of Yellowstone's west entrance.

  • How far in advance should we book a large cabin?

For summer (mid-June through August): 6 to 12 months out for cabins that sleep 30+, and 3 to 6 months for cabins that sleep under 20. Winter (December through March) books 3 to 5 months out. September and October are the easiest months to book last minute.

  • Can we split the bill across multiple families?

Yes. One person books with the deposit; within the 30-day balance window we accept payment splits from up to five additional cards. Just tell us when you book and we'll coordinate.

  • Do the cabins have enough parking for a reunion?

The Teton View properties each have space for 12+ vehicles. Riverfront, Cutthroat, and Trails End each have space for 6–8. If your group needs more, we can direct overflow to nearby parking; call us when you book.

  • What's the cancellation policy on a large cabin?

Full refund of the deposit if canceled 60+ days before check-in. Deposit forfeited within 60 days; balance refunded if we can rebook the dates. We recommend travel insurance for reunion-scale trips; we can suggest a policy that covers group cancellations.

  • Do you host weddings at these cabins?

Yes at Teton View and Cutthroat Landing. Riverfront also works for small ceremonies. Head to our Group Trips & Weddings page for wedding-specific logistics.

By occasion

Different reunion, different room list.

A family reunion needs sleeping arrangements that work for grandparents, kids, and multiple couples in one weekend. A corporate retreat needs boardroom-style meeting space + private bedrooms for every executive. A wedding weekend needs ceremony space, a bridal suite, and overflow.

The same cabin (usually Teton View Both) handles all three, but the room-assignment and check-in strategy is different. See the occasion-specific pages for the sample plans we send when you call.
