How to Book a Grandview Cabin
First-time guests rarely see the full booking pipeline. We're walking through every step in plain English so nothing surprises you.

You request a quote
Pick your dates and party size in the booking widget on any cabin page. We're showing real-time availability from Guesty and pricing that includes all our fees (cleaning + state lodging tax). No "service fee" surprises at checkout.

We hold your quote for 24 hours
Once you click Reserve, we lock the rate for 24 hours while you confirm the group. No payment due yet. The dates aren't locked from the calendar — they're marked as tentative. Anyone else trying to book those exact nights gets bumped to other dates.

Deposit secures the booking
A 30% deposit confirms the reservation. We charge the card you entered; you get a receipt and the contact info for your local manager. The balance is charged 30 days before check-in — or at the moment of booking if you're inside that window.

Confirmation email + manager intro
You get an immediate confirmation email with the booking ID, the dates, the property, the manager's direct phone, and what to expect over the next two months. Save the manager's number — if anything comes up before your trip, they're your first call.

Arrival instructions hit your inbox
72 hours before check-in: the door code, the parking situation, where the firewood lives, the Wi-Fi password, what's already in the kitchen (oils, spices, paper goods), where the closest grocery is, and a 24/7 emergency line. Saved to your phone's wallet if you like.

Self-check-in, anytime after 4 PM
No front desk to coordinate. Punch in the code at the front door. If the property has a vehicle gate (Cutthroat, Beautiful Views), the gate code is sent separately. The manager texts you a "you're in?" check 30 minutes after the code is used.

Check-out + damage hold release
Check-out is 11 AM. Strip the master sheets (optional — we re-launder all linens regardless), start the dishwasher, lock the door. Damage hold releases within 72 hours of check-out assuming no incidents. We don't nickel-and-dime — broken wine glass, scratched bowl, normal-life stuff with twelve people in a kitchen doesn't get charged.

- More than 60 days out: Full refund minus a $50 administrative fee.
- 30 to 60 days out: 50% refund of the deposit.
- Within 30 days: Deposit is non-refundable but transferable to alternate dates within 12 months if availability allows.
- Example: Book a stay with a $1,200 deposit, cancel 75 days out — refund is $1,150 to your card.
